I don’t think I’m alone in my love affair with nutella. I know, I know – the ads touting it’s miraculous energy-giving-healthy-breakfast-ness are a bit overblown, but let’s be honest here, fellow adults. It’s not a health food. What it is, though, is delicious.
My favourite nutella recipe is the below super-easy, super-fast Nutella cookie recipe. Ready for it?
- heaping 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup nutella
- 1 egg
- +chopped nuts, if you’re into that.
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all of the above together. Roll into balls on a cookie sheet, and bake for approximately 10 minutes. (recipe adapted, slightly, from Kirbie’s Cravings, because I often have chopped nuts, but not chocolate chips.)
See? I told you it was easy.
Nutella is another one of those things that can play a role in tons of different recipes. Not satisfied by my Cookies-101-style recipe? Looking for more of a Nutella challenge? Maybe try one of these…

Sweet and spicy Nutella bacon. NUTELLA BACON. I know, right?
Nutella baked oatmeal.
How do you like your Nutella?
PS – having a silicone baking pan liner has changed my life. If you bake often, or just hate scrubbing cookie sheets and throwing out used parchment paper, get one. The little 10$ one that I picked up at Target does a great job!
